Pediatric CPR AED and First Aid for Adults
Length: 5-6½ hours, 3 hours for renewal

Description


This course teaches single rescuer techniques of adult, child, and infant CPR and how to help a choking victim. Class will cover the signs and symptoms of a heart attack, when to start and stop CPR, warning signs of serious illness, disease transmission and legalities.

Audience

For anyone who wants to learn emergency techniques for children– parents, family, friends. For those involved in child care who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, such as child care workers, teachers, bus drivers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for children’s sports organizations.

Certification Card

Valid for 2 years, certification cards are awarded the same day the class is completed. Written Exam/Skills Test.
